Some words for the year
Every year I ask God for one word to be my focus of the year. He always delivers and usually in the most challenging ways (lol). This year I was determined to hit the ground running (not literally - you do not want to see me run). I had my one word and I was resolved to do it well. But as 2025 has begun to unfold I’ve realized, it’s not just about one word. It’s about letting others be your resource. And in doing so I’ve discovered that My word isn’t a resolution to do but a substance to marinate in. My word for the year is listen. At the dawn of 2025 hope renewed in me, propelling me forward in my journey towards listening. And as I sit here now not that far into the year, I’m choosing to allow grace to be my resource.
